    Why haven't you responded to my e-mail?
    Each morning Krista reads each message and credits the strong response from our listeners for getting and keeping Speaking of Faith on the air. As the program has expanded and grown weekly, we can no longer personally respond to each message received. But each listener note is read, pondered, discussed — and above all, appreciated. We hope as we move forward to find new ways to react and engage with your comments. You can contact Krista and Speaking of Faith by submitting a message, and we'll do our best to help.

    How do I submit a show idea, book, or potential guest to Speaking of Faith?
    All submissions for ideas you might have about potential shows, books, or guests should be submitted through our contact form. All submissions are forwarded to the editorial staff. Due to the sheer volume of suggestions they receive, they cannot reply personally to each one. Your suggestion will be considered, and someone will be in touch if we're able to use the material.

    Why hasn't my reflection been posted on the Web site?
    We are often humbled reading your reflections and are touched by the quality and contemplative tone of them. Oftentimes, the primary reason for a reflection not being posted is because it was either submitted to our e-mail address or via the Speaking of Faith contact form — both are considered private correspondence and will not be publicly posted.

    If the reflection was submitted via the proper form for a show, we often do not publicly post the reflections until the following week for reasons of time. And, many times, a similar thought is mentioned by multiple listeners so the editorial staff will post what they feel is the fairest representation of that sentiment. Nonetheless, we encourage our listeners to contribute to this dialogue and read what others have to say on the show's reflection page.

    I'd like to be an intern on the program. How do I apply?
    Currently, we do not offer internships. As our program expands, we will be considering the creation of an internship program.

    Web audio (RealAudio, troubleshooting, alternative formats)
    Why don't you offer programs in formats other than RealAudio?
    We currently only allow RealAudio streaming from our Web site due to several factors: encoding resources, storage limitations, and dollar costs associated with them. Without the generous support of our parent organization, Minnesota Public Radio, we would not be able to provide the technical infrastructure and funding necessary for our RealAudio service.

    In addition, downloads of are available from Audible.com. We also offer free podcasts.

    Can you help me with my RealAudio trouble?
    Although our web producer does his best to address problems experienced by our audience, it's nearly impossible to diagnose problems by e-mail or over the phone. We recommend several avenues to purse in diagnosing and solving the problem:

    1. Consult Minnesota Public Radio's pages for listening to RealAudio;
    2. Talk to your friendly system administrator (many times this can be solved by designating the proper proxy settings); and/or
    3. Check out the RealPlayer customer support site. There you can read some helpful FAQs or call them for help.
